The American Society of Women Accountants represents professional women in accounting and finance and provides them an opportunity for networking and continuing professional education (CPE) with peers at the local, regional and national level.
ASWA members tap into an extensive knowledge base of accounting and finance professionals with technical expertise to provide solutions for the most complex issues. Our members communicate both through social media and face to face through online discussion forums, national and regional conferences and chapter meetings.
Our members come from all fields of accounting and finance. Some have attained professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, EA, CIA, and CFP. The mix of professionals gives ASWA members a broad range of expertise and networking opportunities.
The mission of ASWA is to enable women in all accounting and related fields to achieve their full personal, professional and economic potential and to contribute to the future development of their profession.
