CHAPTER INFORMATION

The Silicon Valley Chapter of ASWA meets the fourth Tuesday of each month (except November and December) at the Biltmore Hotel in Santa Clara. Guests are always welcome!

ASWA AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS

The Silicon Valley Chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA) has been awarding scholarships since 1976 and has distributed over $65,000 during that time.

Scholarships are awarded annually. Applications will open in December and awarded in April. We encourage you to introduce ASWA to a potential applicant for next year and continue to think of fundraising opportunities throughout the year so we may reach even more of the future stars.

KEEP MEMBERSHIP UP - DONATE A BUCK

Our board is pleased to launch a new campaign to assist our members who are between jobs so they will still be able to attend the monthly meetings. We realize that during this down economy, some of our members are now seeking new employment - and monthly attendance is down. If finances are tight, it can be hard to find the extra $35 to attend monthly meetings. There will be a basket available for donations on the registration table at every meeting. We just ask that you keep in mind that if we all donated one dollar, then one more of our members could join us each month! Let's get together to keep our members coming to meetings!

If you are a member who is between work and you are interested in utilizing this benefit, please contact our Membership Coordinator, Christie Diershaw, at Christidier@yahoo.com and put in your request.
