ASWA Silicon Valley Chapter

The Silicon Valley Chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA) has been awarding scholarships since 1976 and has distributed over $65,000 during that time.

Scholarships are awarded annually. Applications will open in December and are awarded in April. We encourage you to introduce ASWA to a potential applicant for next year and continue to think of fundraising opportunities throughout the year so we may reach even more of the future stars.

The Annual Silent Auction is the primary fundraiser for the Scholarship Program. All proceeds go directly to the Scholarship Fund.

Join us November 15th for our annual Scholarship fundraising Silent auction. We will be offering new items donated by local businesses and our members. Some of the past items include hand-thrown pottery by past-president Kyczy Hawk, certificates for pampering, liqueur-infused ice cream from Silver Moon Desserts, and an ice cream machine if you want to try to make your own.

You may also find gift certificates from Discoverey Toys, a domestic round trip anywhere Southwest Airlines flies, a cookie bouquet, a framed photograph, items from pampered Chef, a three foot Santa and more. Becker Professional Education has donated a CPA Exam Review course. Enjoy the evening and start your holiday gift shopping.
